Young Heritage Leaders

Looking to try something new?    For free!

Young Heritage leaders is an exciting course run by The National Trust in partnership with CRAC (the Careers Research Advisory Council)

The course looks at all aspects of team work from being an effective team member to becoming an efficient team leader.

From completing team challenges to leading practical conservation tasks through a series of indoor and outdoor challenges you’ll get plenty of opportunity to practice the skills you gain on the course which will be of great use to you throughout your future life.

At the end of the course you will reflect on your experiences and gain recognition of your new skills with the Institute of leadership and Management (ILM) level two award in team leading.

We will meet on a weekly basis at the Community Centre in Talysarn, some sessions will stay there and others will be spent out in the surrounding area on guided walks and carrying practical conservation tasks.

To complete the course you’ll really be able to put your new skills to the test when you lead Volunteering Taster Days for other young people from the area.

The experiences you gain will make you more employable and will be an impressive addition to our CV for college and University applications.

And it is all free!! We can also cover your travelling expenses (public transport rates)

There are only 15 places on the course so book now to reserve your place.
