Volunteering

Craflwyn is the base for the busy West Snowdonia and Llyn volunteering team and there are lots of opportunities for individual people to get involved.

From helping the Wardens with outdoor practical conservation tasks to being a campsite warden, helping at events to gardening and keeping an eye on some of our remote costal properties we will have an opportunity that is right for you.

If your looking for an exciting and interesting way to make a difference in conserving the environment and the UK's heritage,  whatever your interests or skills, we would love to hear from you.

Learn new skills, meet new people, work right at the heart of the North West Wales Countryside. Just imagine what you could do...

Current opportunities include:

Uwch Mynydd Coastguards hut visitor welcome volunteers:  The Old Coastguards Hut at Uwchmynydd houses an exhibition and is popular with visitors to the area who enjoy hearing about the history, myths, wildlife and stories while enjoying the wonderful views across to Ynys Enlli.

Handyperson/gardener: Craflwyn Hall and the surrounding buildings and ground underwent a large restoration project finishing in 2004 and now plays host to many residential and day groups, from weddings to volunteer groups, corporate meetings to celebration parties. We are looking for a volunteer to assist with the upkeep of the grounds and buildings.

Campsite Superviser: To collect campsite fees and maintain the facilities at the campsite in a good clean order to ensure the efficient running of the site.
