Our Community Cymraeg An integral part of life at Heryri is the concept of community. We all have unique skills, things we’re good at, things we can contribute towards making our communities better places to live. If Heryri is developed, designed and run just by the staff here it will be developed, designed and run according what we would like. The project will be a much more worthwhile experience if everyone with a stake in it provides the ideas, the momentum and the labour. That’s us here, you our customers, your teachers and leaders, and the other people who live within the community in which Heryri is based. So when you are staying with us, we’ll provide the framework but it’s down to us all to make the experience work and develop it. It’s important that Beddgelert, the community of which we are a part, feels a sense of ownership towards Heryri. We have close links to the local school who are helping us develop the orchard/vegetable/herb area, and have further plans to create other vital connections with the village that will benefit us all. |
