Facts about Eryri 'Eryri National Park covers 823 square miles (about 10% of Wales’ landmass) of exceptionally beautiful, mountainous countryside in the north of Wales. 25,682 people live in Eryri (alongside 100,000 sheep). If all the babies were on laps everyone would fit into the bottom tier of the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. There are 1487 miles of public footpaths within Eryri which if laid end to end would get to the Russian border. Around 10 million visitor days are spent within Eryri every year.'
